We were first time home buyers and even though the house was built only 8 years ago, we had heard the horror stories and knew the dangers of buying a home. What if we found out after we moved in that we needed a new air conditioning system or the plumbing was shot? We knew we needed a certified, licensed real estate inspector and found JMark Inspections on the front page of Google so we figured that was a good sign! I’m so glad we hired them for the 4-point inspection. Their hvac inspection showed that the existing heating and cooling systems worked great. Their plumbing inspection showed that everything was fine – as did their electrical inspection. The roofing inspection was sound, there weren’t any leaks or problems. They even did a pool and spa inspection which found only minor problems that weren’t a deal breaker. The mold testing found no evidence of mold or moisture issues and it wasn’t a surprise that the asbestos testing turned up zilch. Not only was the actual inspection thorough and detailed, so was the building inspection report – and easy to read and understand too.
